The following people were committed to the Armstrong County Jail on Wednesday, according to jail records:

• Edward Buffington, 53, of 1624 Third Ave., Ford City, by the probation office, on a probation violation.

• Steven M. McMunn, 24, of 239 W. Brady St., Butler, by the court, on a bench warrant for contempt of court and a probation violation.
