The following people were committed to the Armstrong County Jail on Monday, according to jail records:
• Barry Akins, 28, of 102 15th St., Vandergrift by the court, sentenced to 90 days on a charge of driving under suspension.
• Lindy Metzler, 46, of 2009 Graff Ave., Ford City by District Judge Gary DeComo, on charges of driving under the influence, driving under suspension, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, driving an unregistered vehicle, reckless driving and careless driving. She is being held on $3,000 bond.
