The following people were committed to Armstrong County Jail over the weekend, according to jail records:

• Edward Howard Berry Jr., 45, of 514 Pony Farm Road, Kittanning, by District Judge James Owen, in lieu of $5,000 bail, on charges of simple assault and harassment.

• Samuel Lee Beers, 21, of 191 Wilson Road, Worthington, by the court on a bench warrant for failure to comply.

• Robert Erb, 38, no known address, by probation on a probation violation.

• Ashley Hwostow, 23, of 1718 Freeport Road, Kittanning, by probation on a probation violation.
