The Schneider file: A 1998 graduate of Highlands High School, he enlisted in the reserves in 2001, completed basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., trained in psychological warfare and was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division POC, Oakdale. Schneider, 23, attended Community College of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, and worked at Lowe's, before being activated in January and assigned to the 312th POC at Fort Bragg, N.C. He was deployed to Iraq in March.
