Family: Wife, Misty; daughter, Cassidy; parents, Karen and Pete Fazio, Shaler, formerly of Creighton; Michael Bubar, Maine; sister, Michele Hess; stepbrother, Pete G. Fazio. Bubar file: He attended Deer Lakes High School, graduated from Hodgdon High School, Maine, in 1996, and spent three years in the reserves where he received training as a heavy construction engineer. Bubar, 26, changed his status to active duty in 2001 and completed AIT training at Fort Sill, Okla.. He is a gunner on a Howiltzer Tank. Based at Fort Stewart, Ga., he was deployed Oct. 25, 2002. His daughter was born Feb. 11.
