Arrests made in Lawrenceville slaying from two years ago
Pittsburgh police have arrested two men in connection with a 2006 homicide.
Christopher Moore of the North Side and Rashad Briscoe, age and address unavailable, were arrested last night in connection with the 2006 shooting death of Michael Vaughn in Lawrenceville.
Moore and Briscoe approached Vaughn at Butler and 44th streets on July 6, 2006, and robbed him, police said. Vaughn was shot in the face as his assailants ripped off his necklace, police said.
Vaughn was taken to a local hospital, where he died 11 days later. It wasn't immediately clear what led police to Moore and Briscoe, who are charged with homicide.
