Multi-disciplinary artist Vanessa German turns her talents to an investigation of street violence.

A nationally recognized performance poet, and a mixed-media sculptor and photographer, German serves as conceiver, creator and performer in "Testify."

Employing film, three-dimensional sculpture, live performance, music and movement, German incorporates interviews with community members who are victims and perpetrators of violence and crime, as well as those in healing professions who work with them.

A presentation of the Three Rivers Arts Festival , "Testify" is a multimedia, multi-layered story of pain, loss, triumph and transformation.

Performances of "Testify" are at 7 p.m. Friday and 2, 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Harris Theatre, 809 Liberty Ave., Downtown. Admission: $5.
