Australia deports pedophile to Britain
A British-born pedophile who spent nearly 40 years in a Perth, Australia, prison for a series of offences has been deported to Britain.
Robert Excell, 67, was freed because of ill health. He immigrated to Australia at the age of 10, but never became a citizen.
Excell has spent 37 of the past 39 years in Australia's prison system for child sex offences dating to 1965, when he raped a seven-year-old boy, the BBC reported. Children's campaigners have expressed fears he might re-offend in Britain.
