B-52's front man Fred Schneider will be a deejay for a weekly show on Sirius Satellite Radio, the company announced Tuesday.

Schneider will appear on "Party Out of Bounds with Fred Schneider" on the commercial-free music channel First Wave beginning this Friday. The show will run from 9:00 p.m. to midnight Eastern Time, with Schneider playing party songs from his collection of 60,000 vinyl albums and singles.

"Believe me, I know how to throw a good party, and my show, 'Party Out of Bounds,' will be one of my best," said Schneider. "I'll spin 12-inch mixes, club favorites and obscure gems, along with classic tracks you don't get to hear much anymore."

The B-52's are best known for their hit, "Love Shack," from the 1989 album "Cosmic Thing." Schneider has released two solo CDs, "Fred Schneider" and "Just Fred," and is working on a third.
