Four double-figure scorers sent Gateway to a 72-61 Section 2-AAAA victory over Woodland Hills on Friday night.

Tyler Scott finished with 21 points for Gateway, ranked No. 1 in Class AAAA. Devon Cottrall added 15, and D.J. Boyce scored 13 for the Gators. Barnett Harris added 11.

Jonas Gillespie had 17 points for the Wolverines, who trailed by two entering the fourth quarter.

• Franklin Regional 93, McKeesport 92 (3OT) — Luke McHugh’s two free throws with four seconds left in the third overtime lifted Franklin Regional to an upset of McKeesport in a Section 2-AAAA game Friday.

McKeesport is ranked No. 5 in Class AAAA.

McHugh led the Panthers (1-4, 1-0) with 28 points and nine rebounds.

Sam Gooden paced McKeesport (3-1, 0-1) with 29 points.

• Chartiers Valley 79, Elevation Academy (Fla.) 65 — Matt Noszka hit four 3-pointers and finished with 35 points, as the Colts (4-1) moved into the championship game of their bracket in the KSA Classic in Orlando, Fla.

Zach Wallace hit five 3-pointers and added 19 points, and Steve Burda scored 18 for Chartiers Valley, which will play Payson of Utah at 9 a.m. today in its bracket final.

• West Mifflin 56, A.N. Meyer (Ontario) 40 — Chris Hester scored 25 points, and Lonzell Coles added 15 to lead Class AAA No. 1 West Mifflin in the KSA Classic in Orlando, Fla.

• Lincoln Park 66, Jackson County (Ky.) 42 — Chaquille Pratt scored 28 points, as Lincoln Park romped in the KSA Classic.

Alex Kross added 11 for Lincoln Park, ranked No. 1 in Class A.

• Bethel Park 46, Moon 45 — Kenny Klase hit a 3-pointer with seven seconds left in regulation to lift Bethel Park (2-1, 1-0) over Moon in a Section 4-AAAA game. Klase led the Black Hawks with 23 points.

Moon (3-1, 0-1) was down, 26-15, at halftime and staged a late fourth-quarter comeback to take a two-point lead with 26 seconds left. Aaron Johnson finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds.

• Avonworth 51, Quigley 49 — Mitch Locher recorded a double-double to lead Avonworth (2-2) over Quigley (2-2) in a nonsection game.

Locher finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds. Corey Cochran led Quigley with 23 points, and Jay Fyda had 10.

• Shaler 59, North Allegheny 47 — Geno Thorpe led all scorers with 22 points for the Titans in a Section 3-AAAA game. Anton Costantino (16), Anthony Dallier (12), and Byrum Louco (10) all finished in double figures for the Tigers.

• Sewickley Academy 67, South Side Beaver 53 — Carrington Motley scored 33 points to lead Sewickley Academy over South Side Beaver in nonsection action.

Dan Timpona added 16 points for Sewickley Academy, ranked No. 5 in Class A. Justin Gentile led South Side Beaver with 25.

• Jeannette 79, California 53 — Jordan Batts scored 24 points, as Jeannette rolled over California in a Section 4-AA game.

Demetrious Cox added 21, and Matt Shurm scored 10 for Jeannette, ranked No. 4 in Class AA.

• Connellsville 84, Norwin 79 — John Leonard scored 34 points, and Paul Martin had 20, as Connellsville (3-0, 1-0) rallied to defeat Norwin (2-1, 0-1) in a Section 1-AAAA game.

Connellsville outscored Norwin, 19-10, in the third quarter to overcome a 40-38 halftime deficit.

Andy Carter led Norwin with 34 points, including seven 3-pointers, and Matt Palo added 23.

• Greensburg Salem 69, Southmoreland 47 — Greensburg Salem raced out to a 16-4 lead in the first quarter and rolled to a victory over Southmoreland in Section 3-AAA action.

Casey Hope led Greensburg Salem (3-1, 1-0) with 18 points, and Waylon Fink had 14.

• Greensburg Central Catholic 62, Penn Hills 49 — Jesse Reed scored 27 points, as Class AA No. 1 Greensburg Central Catholic (4-0) defeated Penn Hills (2-2) in a nonsection game.

Josh Stepoli and P.J. McLaughlin added 11 points each for the Centurions.

Rob Agurs led the Indians with 16 points.

• Mt. Pleasant 49, Derry 36 — Mt. Pleasant outscored Derry, 34-23, in the second half to break open a close game in Section 3-AAA contest. Luke Czerniak led the Vikings (1-2, 1-0) with 14 points, while Jeremy Hauser had 19 for Derry (0-0, 0-1).

• Winchester Thurston 61, Leechburg 47 — Winchester Thurston (2-1) avenged an early season loss to Leechburg (2-3).

A 17-3 third quarter was too much for the Blue Devils to overcome after they entered the third quarter with a one-point lead.

Dylan Romaniw led Leechburg with 11 points.

• Kiski Area 79, Albert Gallatin 47 — Zach Barker almost outscored Albert Gallatin by himself. He scored 40 points and surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career to pace Kiski Area (2-2, 1-0) to a Section 1-AAAA win. Deon McKay scored 25 points for Albert Gallatin (1-2, 0-1).

• Purchase Line 58, Elderton 46 — Dillen Statler recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Dylan Lasher scored 20 points, but Elderton couldn’t earn a non-section victory over Purchase Line.

The Bobcats (1-3) trailed at halftime, 32-26, but were outscored in the third quarter, 22-8, and the Red Dragons pulled away.

• Hampton 69, Deer Lakes 32 — Tim Jaczesko scored 15 points, but Deer Lakes fell to Hampton in a 1-AAA game. The Talbots (3-1, 1-0) defense limited the Lancers (1-4, 0-1) to four points in the first quarter.

• Kittanning 56, Knoch 53 — Nathan Stolitza scored 30 points, including a 13 for 14 effort from the foul line to lead Kittanning (4-0, 1-0) over Knoch (0-3, 0-1) in Section 1-AAA action.

Jack Boros led Knoch with 14 points.

• Laurel Highlands 62, Latrobe 41 — Four players scored in double figures to lift Laurel Highlands (1-1, 1-0) over Latrobe (1-3, 0-1) in a Section 1-AAAA game.

Joe Yuhas led with 15 points, and Zach Partyka scored 14.

• Serra Catholic 54, Riverview 49 — Riverview held the lead with four minutes to play but couldn’t hold on against Class A No.4 Serra Catholic in a nonsection game.

Three Riverview players scored in double figures: Brandon Wilhelm with 17 points, Jacob Milberger with 14 and Corey Bickert with 11.

Milberger also had 12 rebounds.

• Brownsville 61, Frazier 53 — Brownsville raced to a 33-21 lead at halftime and won a nonsection battle. Jarrad Bronson had 18 points for Frazier.

• Yough 53, East Allegheny 49 — J.T. Pore had 18 points and J.J. Miller 14, and Yough rallied for a nonsection victory. Yough (2-2) outscored East Allegheny (1-2), 31-22, in the second half.

• Geibel 53, Carmichaels 42 — Eddie Schweiss scored 18 points to lead Geibel (2-1) to a Section 4-A win. Geibel raced to a 37-23 lead at halftime. Jordan Kennedy scored 16 points for Carmichaels (1-3).
