A Beaver County man has been convicted of distributing crack cocaine, federal prosecutors said. Derrick Cotman, 32, of Aliquippa was convicted by U.S. District Judge David Stewart Cercone on charges of distributing more than 50 grams of crack to a federal Drug Enforcement Administration source on July 17, 2006. Cotman previously entered a guilty plea to distributing crack cocaine to a DEA source on July 3 and Dec. 15, 2006. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison when he appears for sentencing on Feb. 29.
