Beechview woman gets prison in forged checks case

A Beechview woman was sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh to 15 months in prison and three years' probation for possessing forged checks.

Christine Ann Wilson, 46, of Hillgrove Avenue, also was ordered to repay $99,992 she stole while working for a physician's billing service.

Wilson was convicted of taking checks from insurance companies that were supposed to go to physicians and depositing them in her personal account.
