Chicago Bulls guard Ben Gordon was named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Tuesday, becoming the only rookie in league history to win the award.

Gordon, who was a first-round pick in the 2004 draft out of Connecticut, received 88 of 125 first-place votes and 513 points from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

He played in all 82 games this season, averaging 15.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and two assists per game.

Ricky Davis of Boston was second in the voting and Denver's Earl Boykins finished third.
