The Tribune-Review's Web site is absolutely the best I have seen for a newspaper.
While traveling in the military for the last 25 years, I was so upset when the newspapers I was stuck reading didn't give me the news on my Pittsburgh teams. They just went with the teams with the big-name, big-money players.
Then, while stationed in Bosnia in 1995 and waiting for some of my soldiers to come back from an escort mission, one of my other soldiers (from McKees Rocks) told me about your Web site. I was very happy to pull the site up and check out the local news, sports and crossword puzzle.
I have watched your changes throughout the years, but with my retirement from the military and the many hours associated with my new job, I haven't had a chance to really look at the Web site. During a recent short vacation, I had that chance, and I would have to say that of all the newspapers I have looked at on my computer, you have about the best I've seen.
I was really happy when I recently created my new home page to see that you include in the sports link all the NCAA teams. I made that suggestion to MSN more than a year ago and it still hasn't been done. I know it must be time-consuming to enter all schools, but with all the money that Bill Gates should be paying his people, I figured it would have been done sooner.
The money that you are paying your webmaster and all his assistants is money well spent. Your site is getting more user-friendly and providing a wide gamut of information.
