A Bethel Park man was killed Monday when his car crashed into a concrete retaining wall.
Peter Mastracci, 25, was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle which crashed around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Old Connor and Overhill roads in Bethel Park, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office and Bethel Park police said.
Mastracci was apparently driving down the hill on Overhill Road at a high rate of speed, Bethel Park police Sgt. Cliff Snitzsky said. The car caught fire but the flames were quickly extinguished by borough police, Snitzsky said.
