Bethel Park man killed when motorcycle hits bridge

A Bethel Park man died when his motorcycle slammed into a bridge in Clarion County, according to state police.

David A. Parker, 46, was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster on Route 58 about 3:40 p.m. Sunday when the motorcycle crossed the road for an unknown reason and hit a bridge leading into Foxburg, police said.

Police said Parker, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
