The state Attorney General's Charitable Trusts and Organization Section has obtained a court order setting a Nov. 30 deadline for those who bought raffle tickets for the "Black and Gold Bash."

Several thousand people paid $75 for a ticket to the event that was supposed to be held in October 2006, believing the proceeds would benefit the Hope Cancer Treatment Foundation. However, neither Bash organizers nor the Hope Cancer Treatment Foundation are registered as a charity in Pennsylvania.

Those who bought tickets must send their name, address, phone number, copy of their tickets and copies of proof of payment for the ticket to: PA Office of Attorney General; Charitable Trusts and Organization Section; Sixth Floor, 564 Forbes Ave.; Pittsburgh, PA 15219; Attention Deputy Attorney General Regis Schnippert.
