Students were evacuated from Laurel Highlands Senior High School on Monday after a message referring to a bomb was found in an upstairs restroom.

State police at Uniontown said the message was discovered about 9:45 a.m. by two students.

Students were diverted to the football field so a K-9 unit could check the school for explosives. None were found.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Scott Krofcheck at 724-439-7111.
