The 2006 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee is changing to feature mainstream and indie rockers alongside the traditional jam bands. Acts announced Wednesday include Radiohead, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Elvis Costello & the Imposters, Beck, Bonnie Raitt and Buddy Guy, Billboard.com reported. Tickets go on sale Feb. 11 for the festival June 16-18 in Manchester, Tenn. Also confirmed to play are My Morning Jacket, Death Cab For Cutie, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cat Power, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks and Bright Eyes. The jam bands will still be represented by Phil Lesh and Friends, Blues Traveler, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, moe., G. Love & Special Sauce and Medeski Martin & Wood. Organizer Johnathon Mayers told Billboard.com they decided to diversify in order to better reflect "people's music collections." Bonnaroo is the No. 1 grossing festival in the world, taking in $13.4 million and 76,049 fans last year alone, Billboard.com said. © Copyright 2006 by United Press International
