HARRISON -- A Brackenridge man died late Friday when his car hit a tree, police and the Allegheny County Coroner's office said.

Richard G. Bubash, 52, of Prospect Street, died at about 11:30 p.m. Friday in Allegheny Valley Hospital about an hour after hitting the tree along the 5300 block of Freeport Road.

The coroner's office examined Bubash Saturday and said he died because of injuries to his chest and neck. The death was ruled an accident.

The accident was investigated by the coroner's office, Harrison and county police.
