How to wear fall trends

"Project Runway's" Tim Gunn offers these style tips in People Style Watch:

Animal print: "It's all in the mix. Wearing this print with edgier pieces feels fresh. But never pair it with more animal print."

Casual jeans look: "Show off your shoes -- whether they're sexy heels or cool clogs. Just be sure to skip the socks."

Ladylike outfit: "Think polished, not prim, with a knee-length hemline, a fitted cardigan, and open neckline and pretty colors."

Tight ruffles: "Gathered details can read girlish, especially in a pale shade, so balance them with more streamlined pieces in dark colors for a modern effect."

Bold-shouldered black: "A little extra dimension in the shoulder can be slimming. But don't go overboard. And stick to an otherwise minimal silhouette."

Heidi Klum turns in her Victoria's Secret wings

Heidi Klum is hanging up her wings.

The supermodel said she is ending her work as part of the Victoria's Secret stable of models, dubbed angels, at the age of 37.

Last year, Klum walked the lingerie retailer's runway just five weeks after giving birth.

"All good things have to come to an end," she said. "I will always love Victoria and never tell her secret."

No reason was given for the split, but Klum said she would focus on other projects. The "Project Runway" host is also creating an activewear collection with New Balance, to be sold on Amazon.
