Britain's Prince Harry cut short his stay in Argentina Thursday and headed to London more than a month before his scheduled departure.

No reason was given for the change in plans.

Harry was working on a polo horse farm and was expected to stay in Argentina until December. He is scheduled to matriculate from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in January.

Third in line for the throne, Harry has a reputation at home for being the spirited son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, having been photographed carousing at all hours in London clubs.

In October, Harry scuffled with a photographer outside a trendy London nightspot.

Two years ago his father sent Harry to drub rehab after the young prince - then 18 - was caught smoking pot.
