On a day when the Lunch Bunch had little time, we visited Buffalo Bill's Roadhouse in Natrona Heights, Harrison. This restaurant is strictly takeout, but there are so many good things on the menu, you will not be disappointed.

First of all, there are wings, wings and more wings 13 kinds of wings to be exact. And, they range in flavor and intensity from Buck Naked -- how mild is that• -- to Blazing Inferno ($3.50 for 5; $5.50 for 10; $9.75 for 20; $15.95 for 45), which is what our fire eater just had to try.

How can you resist• If you like zesty, fiery food, give these baked, not deep fried, wings a try. You will not be disappointed. They are not so hot that they make you sweat or blow the top of your head off, but they do add a little sizzle to your day.

A less daring member of the bunch tried the Spicy Ranch wings. Because the wings were a little too spicy for her taste, she wasn't happy that the restaurant forgot to include the celery and ranch dressing to cut the heat. Oh, well, at least the wings were tasty.

The Teriyaki Buffalo Wings sounded good, too, so another buncher ordered still more wings. The three wings and two drumsticks were not a big size, but they were big on flavor. The tangy teriyaki sauce was dripping off these tasty baked morsels, and there was sauce in the bottom of the foil wrap, just in case you want to dip.

The Buffalo Chicken Salad ($5.95) was large and filling. It featured chunks of grilled chicken breast tossed in a wing sauce of your choice -- one of the Bunch chose Habanero because she likes heat -- plus homemade french fries, cheese, hard-cooked egg, tomato, cucumber and sweet onion on a bed of iceberg lettuce. We had ours with Ranch Dressing -- you have a choice of six. The salad was terrific, in spite of the iceberg lettuce. There were lots of other veggies and goodies to more than make up for the non-nutritive, ubiquitous green. This choice is a winner.

The side of Coleslaw (50-cents) hit the spot, with its oil-and-vinegar dressing. With its unique flavor, this side left us wanting more than the small cupful we received.

The Fish n' Chips ($3.95) lunch choice was excellent. It came with two large pieces of tasty, batter-dipped fish filets, the oil-and-vinegar cole slaw and French fries.

The Philly Cheese Steak ($4.95) featured a fresh, chewy roll and thin, savory steak slices that cradled grilled onions and peppers with melted provolone. Lettuce and tomato completed this winner.

This location is Buffalo Bills second roadhouse. The first Buffalo Bills opened in August 1994 in New Kensington and has a dining area. That location goes through one ton of wings each wing, according to manager Dianna Roney. She also said the Natrona Heights roadhouse has started delivering lunch to businesses and plans to expands free deliveries to residential areas by September.
