State police at Uniontown said Friday they have located a black Cadillac and know the people inside the vehicle that reportedly was racing with another car that crashed, claiming the lives of two Uniontown area teens.

Investigators have received reports that two cars were drag-racing on Walnut Hill Road in South Union Wednesday when one of them crashed, killing De'Andre “DJ” Jones, 17, and Trevor McFadden, 16, both students at Uniontown Area High School.

Two other teens, Ziaire Ellis and Rodney Harris, were seriously injured in the crash. They remain in critical condition at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Health System in the city's Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Police said that they found the black Cadillac that drove away from the accident scene and have identified two occupants. Those names were not released Friday night, however.

A state police communications officer said charges had not been filed as of Friday night.

They were passengers in the car. Police have not identified the driver or the third passenger.

Witnesses told police the car carrying the four teenagers was speeding when the driver lost control and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

A witness reported the teens' car was side by side with a Cadillac at the time of the crash.
