Call about possible Hampton abduction was unfounded

Police have called off a search for a woman who was reportedly abducted from a restaurant in Hampton this evening after learning that the call they received was unfounded, according to authorities.

Hampton police said the report came from somebody with emotional issues and that they were seeking treatment for the caller.
