Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle will most likely be joined by Saffron Burrows, Jada Pinkett Smith and Liv Tyler in the drama "Reign O'er Me."
All three actresses are in final talks to join the Columbia Pictures film about a man who loses his family in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.
Sandler will play the grieving father and widower while Cheadle portrays his former college roommate, now a psychiatrist, who tries to help him go on with his life.
Burrows credits include "Troy" and "Klimt" and next appears in "Perfect Creature." Tyler's credits include the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "One Night at McCool's" and "Armageddon."
Smith's screen roles include those in "Collateral," "Madagascar" and the second and third installments of the "Matrix" trilogy.
