The hottest team in the Daily News League ran into arguably the league's best pitcher Wednesday.
The result was Bowser falling out of first place.
Pitt's J.R. Leonardi allowed two hits over six innings as Century 3 Chevrolet ended Bowser's six-game winning streak with a 2-0 win.
Leonardi (2-0) struck out 11. He has 19 strikeouts in his past 11 innings.
Century 3 Chevrolet (2-6-1) scored both runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Marty Needham was the loser, allowing five hits over five innings.
Brian Grise had hits for Bowser (6-2), who played without stars Corey Rodgers, Jim Onder and Dalaine Ofchinick.
