Chamber society sets 2009-10 season
The Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society will reduce its offerings to six concerts for the 2009-10 season, down from seven concerts plus a four-concert Bridges Festival for 2008-09.
Executive director Kelli Clevenger said the organization expects a deficit for the current season, which has a $300,000 budget, and that next season’s budget is projected at “closer to $200,000.”
“We’re going to maintain our quality, keep the budget within reason and keep ticket prices affordable,” she said.
