Charges were withdrawn against a Monongahela woman who had been accused of stealing from the tenants of a highrise.

Charlene Antol, 70, appeared in Washington County Court on Wednesday where charges of burglary and criminal trespass were withdrawn. She was charged by the Monongahela police for allegedly using a spare key she was given as a trustee at the Monongahela Manor to steal from the apartments on May 20, 2011. Police said many of the tenants were downstairs playing bingo when the alleged thefts occurred. Police said a resident noticed Antol entering an apartment and reported it to management. When they were about the leave the apartment, officials said they heard a noise and found Antol in a closet.
