WASHINGTON - Bill Marks and John Maraldo made the best showings for Charleroi Area High in Saturday's Class AA wrestling championships at Trinity.
Marks and Maraldo had to settle for second after losing in title matches.
Marks, a 112-pounder, dropped a 6-3 decision to Carlynton's Nick Schepis with Maraldo getting pinned in 3:23 by Southmoreland's Justin Poole in the heavyweight division.
Bentworth heavyweight Jared McClure decisioned Sacred Heart's, 6-5, to finish third among the heavyweights.
