A London property rental firm isn’t seeing much interest in an eBay auction of a balcony view of Prince Charles’ and Camilla Parker Bowles’ wedding. Up to 20 people can be accommodated in the room being auctioned where the balconies are said to offer “excellent views” of the town’s Guildhall, which will play host to the royal wedding April 8, The Mirror reported. But the bid sat at just $2 for several days before nudging up to $190 by midday Wednesday. Property firm Nelson Bakewell insists it is a real offer, despite the sale ending April 1. Guests will have access to the room for two hours before the ceremony and for two hours after it finishes. While no refreshments are provided, the listing under “theroyalwindsors” says there is space for the winning bidder to put up caterers. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
