Chase Auto Finance opened an office in Monroeville to provide sub-prime financing for auto dealers in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, the lender said.

The office, at 4075 Monroeville, Blvd., employs 10 people and plans to hire more people over the next several years, said Chase.

Chase Auto Finance is the consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and provides auto dealerships across the nation with commercial loans, treasury management services, real estate financing and other banking services. Sub-prime financing provides loans to less-credit worthy buyers.

The lender previously had served this market from a location in Philadelphia.
