A radical Islamic cleric wants Muslims to leave Europe and says an Islamic flag will one day fly over Downing Street.

Omar Bakri Mohammed said this summer's London bombings are proof that al-Qaida's message had reached the moderate communities in Europe.

"There must be two distinct camps and so all Muslims must leave Europe," Bakri said in a French television interview.

Bakri lives in Lebanon, and has been banned from entering Britain. Sky News reported the cleric said he would never tip off police if he knew an attack would be carried out.

He has called the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers magnificent.
