After leaving a candle at the edge of the Manayunk Canal, a woman is comforted by another during a vigil, for Shane Montgomery, at a park across from Kildare’s Irish Pub in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014.

PHILADELPHIA — A college senior has been reported missing after a night out with friends at a Philadelphia bar.

Police said Shane Montgomery, 21, was home from West Chester University and met up with friends Wednesday night in a crowded bar in the Manayunk neighborhood.

Montgomery became separated from them. And when a barman saw him stumble off a stool, Montgomery was escorted out by a bouncer at 2 a.m. Thursday. He hasn’t been seen since.

His mother, Karen, is offering a $10,000 reward for help finding him.

About 200 volunteers have been searching Main Street in Manayunk and the nearby banks of the Schuylkill River.

Montgomery is a liberal arts major and a former high school runner. He is 5-foot-11, 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
