Columbus Day holiday closings

Federal, state and county offices and courts will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day.

PennDOT drivers license and photo centers will be closed. Drivers can visit the agency's Driver and Vehicle Services Web site, www.dmv.state.pa.us, for more information and some services.

The Postal Service will not deliver mail, but collection times from post offices will be normal. Express mail will be delivered.

State liquor stores will be open. Banks will be closed except for some grocery store branches.

City of Pittsburgh offices will be open. Garbage collection will follow the normal schedule.
