Organizers of the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta are celebrating their 25th anniversary — and a healthy budget — with new attractions, such as extreme skateboarding, a classic car show, and Olympic-caliber stunt snow skiers. The regatta will run Aug. 8 through 11 around Point State Park and the North Shore. A Regatta Bridge Party will kick off the events at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, featuring the Buzz Poets, Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers and Donnie Iris and the Cruisers.
