A story on Page B-1 in some editions Friday on the latest college rankings misattributed a statement by University of Pittsburgh spokesman Robert Hill. ‘We consistently demonstrate that we provide an excellent value for the students, and they get a first-rate education at Pitt that is right up there with the best public universities,’ Hill said. Also, Pitt’s engineering program is tied for 63. The ranking was incorrect in a graphic published with the story.
