A California dentist is reportedly suing country singer Ty Herndon for failing to pay for emergency dental work prior to a show.
Dr. Thomas O'Keefe alleges Herndon, who showed up at his office last February missing two temporary uppers a few hours before show time at a casino, still owes $600 for the dental work, "Celebrity Justice" said.
"He would have never been able to perform that night without the temporary caps in place. He wouldn't be able to sing, and publicity pictures, no way," O'Keefe said.
O'Keefe said he and his assistant worked overtime to get Herndon's teeth fixed.
Although the singer profusely thanked the dentist, even hugging him upon leaving, O'Keefe said Herndon left a bogus address and phone number and the subsequent bill was returned unpaid.
Not long after , Herndon checked himself into drug rehab for crystal meth addiction.
Herndon's spokesperson would not comment on the dispute but said the singer has filed for bankruptcy and is now focusing on his recording career.
