Cows are teaching kids a bit about the birds and the bees at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The two calves born Saturday morning in the Barnyard Babies Birthing Center were drawing questions from children about the cows, as well as the birds and the bees, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Rich Knebel, who runs the exhibit with his father, told the newspaper he gets questions about how babies are made more often than he'd like.

"I just say, 'That's a good question to ask your mom.' And the mom goes, 'Yeah. Thanks,' " he said.

Four of the six cows in the Reliant Center exhibit have given birth. The last two are due any minute, the newspaper said.
