May all who commit atrocities, Arab and American, answer for their crimes against civilization.

The dastardly and barbaric beheading of an innocent American, hideous though it was, should come as a surprise to no one. It is the first of what are likely to be many acts of retaliation for what now appears to be systemic abuse and perhaps murder of Iraqi prisoners in American control.

To Arab haters, an unspeakable act committed against any American is commendable, as it is action against "The Great Satan." To them, an outrage against us settles the score in an appropriate manner for what was done to their brethren.

It is outrageous that our rebel forces have opened the door to the latest wave of savagery through the "fun" they enjoyed with Arab detainees. Some of the blood of our murdered countryman is on the hands of those who gave provocation and encouragement to those already inclined to despise us. May all who commit atrocities, Arab and American, answer for their crimes against civilization.

May the soul of our murdered brother American rest in peace, along with all who will yet pay a heavy price for what our lawless soldiers have wrought.
