The Tribune-Review
| Thursday, April 26, 2007 4:00 a.m.
A sport utility vehicle driven by a Beaver County man struck and killed a Cranberry woman as she walked along a road early Wednesday, police said. Carleen Brown, 22, of Woodbine Drive, died at the scene of the crash at 3:20 a.m. on Freedom Road. Police said the SUV's driver, Ryan Allen Erret, 19, of New Sewickley, initially thought he had hit a deer. After looking at his vehicle and finding a piece of clothing, he called police and returned to the scene. Police said they do not expect to charge Erret.
