More tests are needed to determine what caused the death of an 11-month-old boy in Crawford County.

The toddler died Wednesday at Children's Hospital in Oakland after he was taken off life support. Police aren't saying how the boy became ill or injured or whether foul play is suspected.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the boy, who lived in North Shenango Township near the Pymatuning Reservoir. Crawford County Coroner Patrick McHenry said an autopsy was inconclusive and that he will await test results before making a ruling on the child's death.
