The Connellsville Little League will hold a meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. at the major field. All coaches, managers and board members are urged to attend.

Bus trip

The Connellsville Football and Cheerleader Parents Association will sponsor a bus trip to Friday’s game at Woodland Hills. The bus will leave the high school at 5 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. For more information, call 724-628-0438 after 2 p.m.

Yough Fisherman

The Yough Fisherman’s Association will meet on Wednesday at Meidel’s Restaurant at 7 p.m. Nominations and elections of officers will take place.

CAHS tickets

Tickets for Connellsville’s football game on Friday at Woodland Hills will be sold in the high school athletic office on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. General admission tickets cost $5 and student tickets cost $2. No student tickets will be sold at the gate. The game will start at 7 p.m.

Golf outing

The Tammy Geary Stem Cell Transplant Fund Golf Outing will be held on Oct. 11 at Donegal Highlands Golf Course. The event is a four-person scramble. Registration begins at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The cost is $65 per golfer. Proceeds from the event will go toward a bone marrow transplant for Tammy Geary. Gun bash

The Donegal Community Center will host a gun bash on Nov. 2. Proceeds benefit the Saltlick Township Volunteer Fire Department. The gun bash will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $20. For more information, call Jerry’s Barber Shop at 724-455-3902.

Elementary wrestling

Connellsville Elementary wrestling sign-ups will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 8, 9 and 16 at Junior High East. Boys in grades 1 through 6 are encouraged to join the team. St. Rita’s hoops

The St. Rita’s Youth Basketball Association will be holding registration for boys and girls in preschool (four years old by Sept. 1) through eighth grade at Connellsville Junior High East on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. beginning on Oct. 6.
