Cyclone Percy, the fourth such South Pacific storm in a month, is closing in on a remote territory of New Zealand.

Meteorologists said Saturday Percy was within 140 miles of the tiny Pacific island group of Tokelau, packing winds of 80 mph, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Percy also is expected to pass close to American Samoa, specifically its Swains Island.

The cyclone follows earlier storms, named Olaf, Meena and Nancy.
