I'm commenting on the topic of the week: Do you think the D.A.R.E. program in our schools is effective at preventing teenagers from using drugs?

No, I do not feel that the D.A.R.E. program is effective at preventing teenagers from using drugs. The D.A.R.E. program must go to the junior and senior high schools, in addition to the fifth-grade program.

They also have to have teenagers who are recovering from drug addiction talk to our children and tell them how the drugs will destroy their lives and the people around them. Drug addiction is a disease. Our children are our future.
