Dad’s ashes stolen from car

A Missouri man found to his dismay his car had been broken into and among the things taken were his father's ashes.

"My clothes aren't in the car, and neither is your father," Randy Stoner's fiancee told him.

After searching for several hours, Stoner found the missing urn in a cedar tree about 100 feet from the car, the Kansas City Star said. The clothes were strewn nearby.

Now, the burial that had been scheduled for Wednesday, can go on.
