U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Dennis W. Pavelko, 27, of Monessen, left May 1 for Kuwait. He is assigned to the 307th Military Police unit, based in New Kensington. A 1993 Belle Vernon Area High School graduate, he is the son of Carol Liscik, of Monessen, and Jim Pavelko, of Belle Vernon.
