State police at Greensburg are searching for the man who broke into a North Huntingdon woman's car and used her credit cards to do some shopping.
Police said someone broke the driver's side window of Tiffany Murray Althof's car some time Thursday while it was parked in the lot of the Five Star Trail on Buncher Road in Hempfield. Althof's purse was taken, and her credit cards used at the GetGo and Wal-Mart in East Huntingdon. There also was an attempt to use her credit cards at the Shoe Depot in the Summit Ridge Plaza, also in East Huntingdon.
Police describe the suspect as a black man between the ages of 30 and 40 who wore a light blue baseball cap, a white T-shirt and dark shorts with a white stripe on the leg. He also sports a large tattoo on his neck that says "Sheila." The suspect might have been driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle.
