A Markleysburg man suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Fayette County.

Albert A. Jenkins, 58, was listed in serious condition Thursday at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., where he was recovering from injuries suffered in the crash on Dinner Bell Five Forks Road in Wharton, state police said.

Jenkins was driving south when he lost control of his vehicle while entering a curve in the road, striking the driver's side of an oncoming vehicle operated by Cecil E. Cox, 69, of Edinburgh, Ind., police said.

Cox was not injured in the wreck, which occurred just before 10 a.m.
