Kudos on your article about the drug problem in the region (” Heroin hits home ,” Feb. 9). Perhaps with more hard-hitting reporting about this scourge, folks will wake up to the extent of the problem. The big bucks “war on drugs” obviously isn’t going anywhere as long as the public is complacent. T. Greenholt Wexford
